         Gustav Klimt (1862 - 1918) was an Austrian

         Symbolist painter and one of the most important

         members of the Vienna Art Nouveau (Vienna

         Secession).

Yesterday, Saturday June 6th, it was celebrated at Culleredo (A Coruña, Spain) the 12th edition of "Voz Natura" (literally Nature's Voice), an environmental education program developed by Santiago Rey Fernández-Latorre's Foundation in collaboration with 244 Galician educational centers (except Universities) and some foreign centers (France and Germany) about recycling. During the school  year, pupils from different ages have worked, with their teachers' help and imagination, creating all kind of things with used and, at first, useless materials. The works' exhibition was very varied, from toys made with bottles, recycled paper, egg boxes, cork, with wooden spoons, etc, to the native flora's compilation and classification, wood and rivers' cleaning, and plants and trees'planting.

Mother and babe

I SEE the sleeping babe, nestling the breast of its mother;
The sleeping mother and babe—hush’d, I study them long and long.

Walt Whitman

I guess in the rest of Spain, or in other countries, there are some superstitions about cockerels and hens. In Galicia, where we have a large tradition of superstitions, stories and legends, exists lots of beliefs about this kind of animals.

I was lent "The flower of my secret" some days ago and yesterday night, at last, I recollected forces to be able to watch it. I don't like Almodóvar, I think he is a overvalued director, with a lot of strange characters, vulgar, illspoken, sex obsseded, and frequently blasphemous.
